How is a SINP Expression of Interest scored?

Out of 110 points. Labour market success is worth up to 80 and connection to Saskatchewan up to 30. You need at least 60 points to apply. The highest scores are invited first, with ties broken by Saskatchewan connections, then by the most work experience and the highest language scores. A profile stays valid for one year and you may hold only one at a time.

Are SINP draws running?

There are no scheduled Expression of Interest draws at this time, and Saskatchewan does not post draw dates before they happen. The capped-sector intake windows run on a published calendar instead (January 13, March 2, May 4, July 6 and 7, September 14, and November 2 in 2026), and every window held so far has filled to its limit.

Do I need a Saskatchewan job offer?

Not for every route. The Occupations In-Demand and Saskatchewan Express Entry sub-categories are built for high-skilled workers without a supporting job offer. The Employment Offer sub-category, all three Talent Pathways (Agriculture, Health, and Innovation and Tech) and both Saskatchewan Experience sub-categories do require one.

How is Saskatchewan's 2026 allocation divided?

The initial 2026 allocation is 4,761. At least half (2,381) goes to priority sectors including healthcare, agriculture, skilled trades, mining, manufacturing, energy, and technology, with 750 of those reserved for Saskatchewan post-secondary graduates working in them. At most a quarter (1,190) goes to capped sectors: accommodation and food services 15%, trucking 5%, and retail trade 5%.

How long do I have after an invitation to apply?

60 days to submit a complete online application. On the Employer Position Assessment route you have 10 calendar days to validate the assessment and 60 calendar days from being named on a conditionally approved one. After nomination, you have six months to apply to IRCC.

What does a SINP application cost?

$500 CAD, non-refundable, payable on submission. Since April 1, 2026 it applies to every International Skilled Worker sub-category, including Employment Offer; before that it was charged only under Occupations In-Demand and Saskatchewan Express Entry. Asking the SINP to review an ineligible decision costs a further $250, refunded if the original decision is overturned.
